The Rotary Club of Mount Holly in coordination with the Mount Holly Community Awards Committee (MHCAC) is seeking nominations for the 2026 Mount Holly Business of the Year. A panel of judges named by the MHCAC will review all nominations and name the recipient of the Business of the Year Award for 2026 using the criteria listed below. The 2026 Mount Holly Business of the Year will be announced at the annual Mount Holly Community Dinner on April 30th.
Purpose of the Mount Holly Business of the Year Award
The Mount Holly Business of the Year Award recognizes a Mount Holly business that exemplifies excellence in growth, innovation, and community involvement. This award honors a business that has demonstrated outstanding performance, contributed positively to the city’s economy, and serves as a model of leadership and integrity within the Mount Holly business community.
Criteria for Selection as the Mount Holly Business of the Year
1. The business must be located within Mount Holly city limits and have been in operation for at least three years.
2. The business should demonstrate a consistent record of growth and success, including measurable achievements such as sales increases, job creation, or expanded services.
3. The business must display strong community engagement, including participation in local events, support of civic or charitable initiatives, or partnerships that benefit Mount Holly.
4. The leadership of the business should embody ethical business practices, integrity, and professionalism.
5. The business should provide a positive workplace culture that supports employee development, customer satisfaction, and long-term sustainability.
6. The business should contribute to enhancing Mount Holly’s reputation as a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work, and do business.
7. Consideration will be given to businesses that demonstrate innovation or adaptability, especially in responding to economic challenges or market changes.
Instructions for Submitting a Nomination
1. All nominations submitted must use the Nomination Form attached to this announcement.
2. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
3. No attachments will be accepted (letters of support, resumes, etc.).
4. While there is no limit in the length of the information requested on nominees, conciseness is appreciated.
5. Nominations will be accepted beginning on February 1, 2026 and must be received NO LATER THAN March 16, 2026.

Submit a Nomination for Business of the Year
General Instructions
Assume the selection committee is not familiar with your nominee. Use specific examples and descriptive language to showcase the business’s achievements and contributions.
Understand that the selection committee will judge nominees based on how they fit the criteria listed for this award.
Avoid general statements. Describe what the business has done, how it was accomplished, and the measurable impact on Mount Holly.
Please provide all information completely and clearly. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
Submit all materials by the deadline of March 16, 2026.
