Mount Holly Community Development Foundation Nomination Form:
Volunteer of the Year

Purpose

The Mount Holly Community Development Foundation (MHCDF) Volunteer of the Year recognizes a person that serves the Mount Holly community through one of the various MHCDF subcommittees, events or general Foundation operations and has contributed significantly to the quality of life in Mount Holly. Service should be within the past 12 months of the MHCDF activities.

Criteria

1. The nominee should have consistently have gone above and beyond the expected duties of a volunteer.

2. Nominee involvement was a sustained and exceptional commitment to the organization’s cause.

3. The nominee’s work should have a tangible and measurable positive impact on the organization served and the community.

4. Nominee often demonstrated leadership by inspiring others to get involved in the volunteer activities.

5. Award recipient may have shown originality and innovation in their volunteer efforts, finding new ways to address needs.

Instructions for Submitting a Nomination

  1. All nominations submitted must use the Nomination Form attached to this announcement.

  2. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

  3. No attachments will be accepted (letters of support, resumes, etc.).

  4. While there is no limit in the length of the information requested on nominees, conciseness is appreciated.

  5. The application will be available in printed form and can be requested via email to anyone willing to nominate. Request can be made via email at Admin@mhcdf.org

  6. Nominations will be accepted beginning on February 1, 2026 and must be received NO LATER THAN March 16, 2026.

Submit a Nomination for Volunteer of the Year

General Instructions

• Assume the selection committee is not familiar with your nominee. Use specific examples and descriptive language to highlight the business’s commitment to exceptional customer service.

• Understand that the selection committee will judge nominees based on how they fit the criteria listed for this award.

• Avoid general statements. Describe what the business has done, how it delivers superior service, and what impact it has had on its customers and the community.

• Please provide all information completely and clearly. Incomplete forms will not be considered.

• Submit all materials by the deadline of March 16, 2026.
